Special note: always spot test any home concoctions first before general use.

Glass cleaner- It's great as a glass cleaner! If you're going to use it in hot conditions, dilute it with water.

Removes stains- Methylated spirits can be used to remove ink stains from upholstery or clothes and removes permanent marker from pvc plastics.

Clean paintbrushes- as an alternative to fossil fuel based solvents, fill a container and insert the brushes within a few minutes the paint should start to dissolve.

Polish- As a general metal cleaner, can polish stainless steel, removes grease.

Glue removal- For removing stickers and sticker residue from car windscreens, dab a small amount onto a rag or sponge and rub over the area, within a few seconds the glue should dissolve.

Disc brakes- To clean bike/car disc brakes, dab a small amount on a cloth and rub over the disc brakes, this should remove all the brake dust and grease.

Cleans electronics- denatured alcohol or methylated spirits is perfect for cleaning defects and dust on electronics without damaging the sensitive circuitry. Can also clean CD/DVD laser lenses (use a cotton bud/q- tip) without damaging it.
